CUYAHOGA FALLS- David Wayne "Pop" Vineyard, 77, passed away September 10, 2014. He was born in Granger County, TN and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 50 years. He worked at Chrysler 38 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley with Patti on the back, NASCAR races, spending winters in Florida and spending time with family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Pauline and brother, Howard; son, Brian; he is survived by his wife Patricia of 36 years; children, Mindy Clark, Sherry (Jerry) Wharton, Dave (Tammy) Vineyard, Rich (Johnna) Vineyard and Steve (Shannon) Vineyard; grandchildren, Keri (Mike), Mark, Chris (Jessica), Shaun, Jordan, Christina, Rich, John, Taylor and Addison; great-grandchildren, Cydnee, Bailey, Brandon and Brooke; sister-in-law Doris Vineyard, nieces and nephews and dear friends, Gary and Anita Ryan.
The family would like to thank Drs. Venkat and Steidl and the nurses at Summa City Hospital ICU for their wonderful care.
Memorial calling will be held from 3-5 PM on Saturday September 20, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221 where a memorial service will be held at 5 PM that same day. Dr. Richard Hasler will be officiating. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Falls Cancer Club, PO Box 3244, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 and Dane Foundation, 20 Pierce Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
