Together Again

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Daniel Soloveiko, 86, passed away peacefully in his home on October 4, 2021. He was born in Youngstown to the late Leonty and Mary Soloveiko and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 58 years. He worked as a chemical engineer retiring from Uniroyal Goodrich. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, gardening and spent many years volunteering for the Metro Parks.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda; brother, Leo; and sisters, Alicia Figueroa and Eileen Fryda; he is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (Brian) Dean; grandchildren, Allyssa and Jacob; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank his special friend Janet for caring for him the past several years.

Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to a 12 PM funeral service on Saturday October 9, 2021, at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Summit Metro Parks Foundation.
