Darrell J. Irons, Sr.

Darrell J. Irons, Sr., 67, residing in Akron, passed away suddenly on January 12, 2025. Darrell was born in San Antonio, Texas and lived most of his life in Stow. He was born on August 8, 1957, and was the son of the late Ronald and Nedra (Donahay) Irons. He was a graduate of Stow High School and went on to work at ACME, retiring after 45 years of service.

In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his siblings, Connie Jones and Rhonda Mosley.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Irons (Tricia Climes), Darrell Irons, Jr., and Sheri (Kevin) McConville, and grandsons, Jimmy Irons and Nick Irons.

Cremation has taken place. Guests are welcome for visitation on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4-6 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Immediately following visitation, a memorial service will begin at 6 pm, also at the funeral home, Pastor Bob Burguss officiating.
