Darryl Krakora

Darryl L. Krakora, 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 19, 2021.  Darryl was born on September 20, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Ralph and Ruth (Scibbe) Krakora.  He was raised in Streetsboro, Ohio, and graduated from Streetsboro High School, class of 1971.  He was very active on the high school football team, and the alumni football team.  Darryl was a retired Steelworker USW Local 9126 and 979 (Cleveland), with over 30 years of service.  Family was everything to Darryl.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dale Ann Bailey and Debbie (Brud) Cushman.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 48 years, Tina (Scarbrough) Krakora; daughters, Amanda (Jim) Binder and Katie (James Jackson) Krakora; grandchildren, Andrew Krakora-Binder and Arianna Jackson; brother, Dirk (Kathy) Krakora, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 5 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.  Immediately following the memorial service, guests are welcome to join the family for the celebration of Darryl's life at the Elks Lodge 1923, 2555 State Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
