David Brown

CUYAHOGA FALLS - David J. Brown, 70, passed away March 28, 2016. He was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for most of his life. Dave graduated from Falls High in 1963, served briefly in the U.S Army. Worked the majority of his career for Ohio Bell and ATandT. He enjoyed playing softball and was an avid golfer. After retirement he worked for Brookledge Golf Course and was a bus driver for 2 school systems. Dave was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Elks Lodge. He was a supporter of Cuyahoga Falls athletics. Dave was passionate about his interest in the Buckeyes and the Browns. He was a free spirit and lived life on his own terms. He had a special relationship with his grandson, Keith. Dave will miss his dog Skip.

Preceded in death by his parents Don and Kathryn Brown; daughter, Dawn Brown; he is survived by his son, Keith (P.J.); sister, Sandra (Roger) Bowers; grandchildren, Keith (Heather) Brown, Miranda Pelton and Rodney Pelton; nephew, Michael Bowers.

Cremation has taken place and friends may call on TUESDAY, APRIL 5, 2016 from 4:30-6:30 p..m. at the First Christian Church 2553 3rd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. that same evening.

Memorials may be made to the Cuyahoga Falls High School Athletic Dept., 2300 4th St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory.
