Loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, David Elton Heck, 77, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday March 8, 2015, as he was preparing for church. God walked him through Heaven's Gates for the greatest possible worship service. His loving, gentle spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He served honorably in the Army Corps of Engineers for several years. He also worked for Standard Oil of Ohio (Sohio) and BP Oil for 39 years, retiring in 1996.
He was a humble, faithful servant of many churches active at both The Chapel in North Canton and The Shore Church in Sarasota Florida. Born November 10, 1937 in Hudson, OH, he is preceded in death by Glenn D. Heck (father), Kathryn L. Heck (mother), Nancy L. Heck (sister), Don Heck (brother), Douglas Heck (son), and Keith Heck (son). He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Janice M. Heck, Mick Heck (son), Lisa Boggs (daughter), David Heck (son), Sarah Pulliam (daughter), grandchildren David C.
