STOW - David Henry Leiner, 65, passed away November 10, 2014. Mr. Leiner was born in Akron and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1967 and Kent State University. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, where he received the Purple Heart. He was Clerk - Treasurer of Stow Public Schools retiring after 20 years of service.
Preceded death by his parents, Donald and Emma Leiner, he is survived by his brother, Donald (Phyllis) of Cuyahoga Falls; nephews, David and Jeffery (Bobbi).
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, November 13, in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221 where friends may call from 2:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of service. Dr. Donald Baird officiating. Interment Friday, November 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 2253 3rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
