David Nichols

STOW - David "Ben" Nichols, 65, passed way November 21, 2016. He was raised in Hopedale, OH and was a long-time Stow resident. Mr. Nichols graduated from Hopedale High School and attended Kent State University. He recently retired from Swagelok after 40 years of service. David was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

Preceded in death by his parents Ed and Georgia; and brother, Terry; he is survived by his wife, Janet of 40 years; sons, Michael (Lisa) and Brian; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Friday November 25, 2016 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Saturday November 26th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 1761 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Fr. Jared Orndorff will be officiating. Interment All Saints Cemetery (Northfield). Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
