David Steele

Ravenna- David L. Steele, 79, went home to be with the Lord and his wife Vivian on April 13, 2009.
Mr. Steele was born in Akron and lived his entire life in the area. David had been a Brakeman on the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad and had attended the Stow Alliance Fellowship Church.
Preceded in death by his wife, Vivian of 59 years, he is survived by his children David (Sandy) Steele, Jr. of Ravenna, Michael (Karen) Steele of Ellet and Deborah (Rick) Craft of Brady Lake; grandchildren, David III, Michael, Jr., Mary, Geri, Erick, Tatum, Cammy, and Rick; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Monday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, Pastor Virgil L. Smith officiating. Inurnment will take place in Stow Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
