CUYAHOGA FALLS - David A. Young, 74 passed away February 21, 2017.
He was born in Akron, served in the US Army, moved to San Diego in 1981 and returned to Cuyahoga Falls in 1997.
Preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Josephine (Meglich), David is survived by his sons, David (Dottie) Young Jr. of Akron,, Audrey Thomas (Colleen) Young of Long Beach, CA, Sam (Barbara) Young of Akron; daughters, Anne (Glenn) Putterman of Alliance; Barbara Nelson of Cuyahoga Falls, Kathleen Young of Blue Springs, MO and Christine (Bobbie) Raines of Franklin WV; Stepson, Gerald (Pat) Laughlin of Doylestown many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; loving companion, Marilyn Lilley and nieces, nephews and friends.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25 in the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 104 W Portage Trail Ext Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, Rev. Stephanie Crossland officiating. Final resting place Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorial may be made to his church. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
