CUYAHOGA FALLS - DeNeal Jacobs, 91, passed away August 8, 2009.
Born in Akron, Mr. Jacobs was a lifelong resident of the area. He had been a truck driver for All States Freight and had attended Pilgrim United Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by his wife Janis Eileen, son Edward Neil, grandson Danny Simes, brother M. Bud Jacobs, and sisters Nan McCune and Adele Silverman, he is survived by daughter Carolyn (Bob) Simes; grandchildren Bob Simes, Becky Simes and Pam Hazell; 4 great grandchildren: 1 great-great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews including special niece Judy Jenkins.
Graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Pastor Jeff Hinkle officiating.
