Denise Kathyrn Beatty Lee

Our beloved Denise passed away unexpectedly early in the morning of March 25, 2025. She loved life and had numerous best friends (some of whom passed away earlier in her life) but some who remained with her throughout their lives, like Tari Jacobs & Kim Ward. She was loved, and she loved deeply.

She was born on October 9, 1964 in Akron, Ohio to Toni Twiggs and Dwight Beatty. She has two brothers and two sisters, Debbie Clapp of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; Matt Beatty of Ft. Myers, FL; Scott Beatty (Susan) of Ft. Myers, FL; and Ellen Howes (Tom) of Naples, FL. They were always extremely close, and a huge hole will be found in all their hearts. One of her favorite things to do was travel, especially to NY City.

Denise graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1983, and went on to graduate with not only a BS Degree, but also a Master’s Degree from the University of Akron. She worked hard through college and was employed at Western Reserve Hospital as a Senior Application Specialist for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Mike Lee. Denise is survived by her dad, Dwight Beatty (Barbra) of Ashtabula, OH, and her mother, Toni McEneaney-Beatty Twiggs, of Ft. Myers, FL. She is also survived by her two brothers and two sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and a special friend John Matthews.
