Dennis Ray Fickey, Sr.

ROOTSTOWN – Dennis Ray Fickey Sr, 73, passed away November 19, 2022. He was born in Stow and attended Stow High School. Dennie resided in Rootstown for the past 33 years. He worked as a mechanic, farmer and was an experienced carpenter, building a couple of his own houses. Dennie was a very respectful, humble and hardworking man. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Darold and Katherine Fickey; he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dawn E; children, Marjorie (Chris) Drewniak, Dawn “Squeky” Nipuelio, Marsha (Sam) Georgakopoulos, Rosie (John) Hatchett, Dennis Fickey Jr., Darold (Wendy) Fickey, Ron (Melissa) Nipuelio, William Fickey and Matthew (Rebecca) Fickey; 29 grandchildren and 29 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to a 6 PM funeral service on Wednesday November 30, 2022 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
