Diane Anderson

Our "special" sister, Diane L. Anderson, 63, passed away October 11, 2014. Diane was born in Barberton and was a longtime resident in a group home with Hope Homes of Akron. She had been employed at Weaver Workshop and loved horses, bowling, swimming, and workshop. All who knew Diane, could tell you stories of her remarkable personality...the famous wave and wink and that ornery chuckle. She loved dancing to rock'n roll and hugging her numerous stuffed animals. Life will never be the same without her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Jewell Anderson and is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Paul Bednarik of Barberton; brother and sister-in-law, Duayne and Cheryl Anderson of Wooster; brother, Erik Anderson of Barberton; several nieces and nephews and her special friends at Hope Homes.
There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 18 in Grace Church, 3970 Cleveland-Massillon Road, Norton, OH 44203, Pastor Robert Combs officiating. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Diane Anderson, Hope Center, 2300 Call Road, Stow OH 44224. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home & Crematory, 330-928-2147.
