Diane White

Diane M. White, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 3, 2018. She was born in Canton and resided in Stow for most of her life.

Diane will always be remembered for her strong love for her family, for children, and for Jesus. Diane married the love of her life, George White, and remained fiercely loyal to him throughout their marriage. She and George raised three children, Brett, Jodi, and Trent, who grew to know Mom as a strong anchor for the family. She was an affectionate grandmother, her grandchildren fondly remembering special times and great sleepovers. The community around her will remember how she could show love in the simplest of ways, especially her love of children. She spent many years teaching children that Jesus loved them, a legacy she passed down to her kids and grandkids.

Preceded in death by her mom Evelyn Anderson, she is survived by her husband, George E.; children, Brett (Kandi) White, Jodi (Rodney) Matthews, and Trent (Sharon) White; grandchildren, Micah (Holly), Trent Jr., Joseph, Nathanael, and Jaden.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 pm Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, July10 at 11:00 am. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery.

It was Diane’s wish and the wish of her family that memorials be made to the ministry of her children who continue her legacy of teaching children at Urban Vision, 749 Blaine Ave., Akron, OH 44310 or Akron Bible Church, 783 Brown St., Akron, OH  44311. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
