Dolores Cole

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Dolores J. Cole entered into her Savior's arms on January 9th 2016 while in the presence of her loving family.

She was born September 1st 1946 in Cleveland, OH to the late Joseph and Gertrude (nee Thomas) Schaefer. Dolores will be remembered for her great wit, her love of animals, and her ability to overcome any obstacle.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Joseph Schaefer, Calvin Schaefer, Charles Schaefer, sisters Cindy More and Darlene Schaefer. She is also pre deceased by her daughter Sherrie Mize.
Dolores is survived by her husband of 44 years, James Cole who was her best friend and soul mate. She is also survived by her son Charles (Sue), son Michael, sister, Elizabeth Yatson (Jim), sister Mary Victor, brother John Schaefer (Sharon), nine grandchildren, a great grandchild as well as many other relatives, and friends.

Many had the opportunity to come to know Dolores and to walk away a friend for life. Special thanks to Dr. Stephen Cochran for his compassionate care and to Crossroads Hospice for all of their loving care and kindness of Dolores and her family.

Services will be at Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls on Tuesday January 12th from 3-7pm. A service will follow at 7:00, officiated by Chaplain Mark Ballard of Crossroads Hospices. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
