Dolores Hastings

Dolores Jean (Bennett) Hastings, age 85, passed on December 26, 2020.  Dolores was the only child of John and Edith Bennett of Akron Ohio.  She was a 1953 graduate of North High School. She is survived by her husband of 66 years David Hastings.  They went on to have 3 children, David (Kelly), Deborah Tuxhorn (Delbert), and Daniel (Nancy). They also have 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  Dolores is preceded in death by her parents and grandson Brian Hastings.

Dolores was a crafter at heart and made many things of beauty to decorate her home.  She also loved making things with and for her grandchildren as they came along.

Private family services will be held and she will be laid to rest at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements entrusted to Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.

Afterglow
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one,
