Donald Darden

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Donald E. Darden, 75, passed away peacefully November 8, 2017.

Donald was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life. He retired from the City of Ravenna as a mechanic. He will always be remembered for his strong work ethic and great sense of humor.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Silas and Katherine (O'Brien) and his favorite dog Gizmo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Carrie. Don is survived by his children Don Jr. (Cheri), Dennis (Pam), Dean (Karen), Patrice, and Amy (Brian) Frackelton. He is also survived by grandchildren, Heather, Nick, Zach, Tommie, Austin and Sydney, and 5 great grandchildren; sister Rosemary,brother Pat (Carolyn), father in law John, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. The family would like to thank Cleveland Clinic VNA Hospice. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may made to Hospice of the Cleveland Clinic, 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44195.
