Donald Fulvimar

Donald J. Fulvimar, 89, passed away January 31, 2018 He was a life-long resident of the Akron area. Donald graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1948. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 40 years of service. Donald was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Knights of Columbus and Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Donald always put faith and his family first, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather "Papa Don". He loved wintering in Inverness, Florida "snowbird" he loved singing as a Crooner, making wine, gardening and was an avid golfer.

Preceded in death by his loving mother at a young age, Rosemary Fulvimar; parents, August and Viola; and wife of 66 years, Nancy; he is survived by his children, Michael (Janie) of Akron, Valerie (Phil) Yacovazzi of Hudson, Linda (John) Vincent of Texas and Jeffrey of New York; grandchildren, Gabriel Fulvimar, Anthony Yacovazzi, Angela (Sean) McCoy, Julia and John Vincent; brother, John (Mindy) Fulvimar and many other family and friends.

Friends may call from 1-4 PM on Sunday February 4, 2018 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday February 5. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
