MUNROE FALLS - Donald L. Lemke, 77, passed away May 6, 2016. He was born in Milwaukee, WI and has been a long-time area resident, residing in Munroe Falls for the past 16 years. Donald graduated from Carthage College with a BA in business administration. He began his telephony career with Illinois Bell in Chicago, and then moved on to become a vice-president with Mid-Continent Telephone (Alltel) in Hudson, OH. After his telephony career Donald went on to work at J.C. Penney's, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Lions' Club and the Christ Community Chapel in Hudson. Donald loved music, and was an avid baseball fan, loved to play golf, and dabbled in art work.

Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence "Speed" and Evelyn; grandparents, Frank and Mary Ulrich. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Helen "Ginger"; sons, Douglas (Karen) and their sons, Cody and Brett of Stow, Michael (Lori) and their sons, Benjamin and Nathaniel of Ft. Wayne IN, Christopher (Stephanie) their children, Madeline, Nina and Justin of Indianapolis, IN; step-sons, Mark Engelsman of Tempe, AZ and Michael Engelsman of Reno, NV.

Cremation has taken place and memorial calling will be held 1 hour prior to an 11:00 a.m. memorial service on Saturday May 14, 2016 at the Christ Community Church 750 W Streetsboro Rd. Hudson, OH, 44236. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Cuyahoga Falls Lions Club, C/O Pilot Dogs, P.O. Box 911, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 or the Falls Cancer Club, P.O. Box 3244 Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
