Donald R. Mathew

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Donald R. Mathew, 74, passed away from complications of dementia on January 17, 2024. He was born in Phillipi, WV to the late Margaret “Spark” and William Mathew. Don was a 1967 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and spent most of his adult life in Cuyahoga Falls. He retired from Yellow Freight after 25 years. Don enjoyed cooking, grilling, yardwork, crosswords and was a avid Cleveland Browns fan. 

Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Quaint; he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rosalind; daughter, Kathy (Kenneth) Crowell; son, Nathan (Jessica) Mathew; grandchildren, Savanah (David) Welch, Shelby Dimovski, Austin Crowell, Nolan Mathew, Gillian Mathew and Sadie Mathew; greatgrandchildren, Leighton Welch and Dawson Welch; twin brother, Dan (Emily) Mathew and brother, Rick (Rachel) Mathew. 

Per Don’s wishes cremation has taken place and no public services will be held.
