Donald Shertzinger

Donald E. Shertzinger, 69, died at his residence October 1, 2006. Mr. Shertzinger was born in East Liverpool and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 32 years. He had worked as an Insurance Salesman for Western Southern Life Insurance for 23 years and had served with the U. S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Evelyn Shertzinger and is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Bonnie; daughters, Tammy (Thomas) Hughes and Trudy Shertzinger, both of Cuyahoga Falls; granddaughter, Nicole Robinson who he adored; brothers, Martin Shertzinger of Celebration, FL; mother-in-law, Eileen Bender of East Liverpool and many nieces and nephews and friends and his special friend, Nicole's dog Jasmin.

His biggest joy was he and Bonnie's many trips to Myrtle Beach, SC with friends from Canada, Georgia, Maryland and Hudson.

Friends my call from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm Tuesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Wednesday, Sister Mercia Madigan officiating.
