Donna Mae Carroll

Donna Mae Carroll, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 19, 2025. Born in Chicago, IL to the late Campbell and Margaret (Peterson) Richardson, she resided between Copley and Cuyahoga Falls over a span of 46 years. She worked as a Registered Nurse retiring after 25 years of service and enjoyed 27 years of retirement. A devout servant of Christ, Donna’s passion resided in putting her talents to work at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron. She was actively involved with Time, Talent and Treasures, Altar Guild, the Welcome Team and often gave Historical Tours of the church. 

Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Fletcher Carroll, who passed away in 2023. 

She will be dearly missed by her children, Richard (Jill) Carroll and Laura (David) Landreth; grandchildren, Jessica (Cori) Hunt, Samantha (Nick) Livingston, Connor Landreth and Austin Carroll, along with extended family members. 

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to The ALS Association, Attn: Donor Services, 1300 Wilson Blvd. Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209 

Service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 am on April 11, 2025 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 50 North Prospect St., Akron, OH 44304 with calling hours starting at 10:30.
