Doris Koehler

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Doris E. Koehler passed away December 11th, 2009 at Rockynol Ledges, where she received great care for the last two months.
Born in Bluefield, West Virginia on October 30, 1922, Doris lived the past 39 years in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Previously she had lived in Fort Worth, Texas, Springfield, Massachusetts, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was an active member of Grandview United Methodist Church for 39 years. She loved her wonderful church family which had been an important part of her life. She was a member and Past President of Women's Auxiliary of ADVPE, and Past President of Leaf and Blossom Garden Club.

Preceded in death by her parents Cary and Leona, brothers Ralph C. and Roland A. Eubank, sisters Virginia E. Brown and Mildred E. Keister, she is survived by her husband of 41 years, Cecil W., who always loved her great love and support; daughters Dana P. Frase, Hope (Jeff) Reed, Penny (Orville) Allen, Vicki (Tom) Wachtl, Terry (James) Basher and Patti Richard) Reim; grandchildren Timothy and Robert Frase, Thomas Metzger, Dustin Koehler, Jeremy Wachtl, Brian Mitchell, Joshua Reim, Jennifer Lofti, Ginger Metzger, and Crystal Reim; and great granddaughter Rasha Lofti.

Friends may call at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, from 3 to 7 pm Wednesday, December 16th. Funeral Services will be held at Grandview United Methodist Church, 2315 Phelps Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, at 11 am Thursday, Rev. James McKenzie and Rev. James B. Wolf officiating. Interment will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Grandview UMC in her memory.
