Dorothea Organ

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Dorothea L. Organ died March 21, 2005. She was 83 years of age, born April 12, 1921. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred B. and Hazel W. Organ. Dorothea was born in Cuyahoga Falls and lived there her entire life. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1939 and then attended Hammel Business College. She worked for Prudential Insurance Company as an Office Manager retiring after 38 years in 1980. She was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple, the Akron Woman's City Club and a lifetime member of the Woman's Auxiliary to Goodwill. She enjoyed playing golf with her friends and traveling.

Dorothea leaves many good friends who she loved being with, especially Gary and Beck Moss, Jim and Ann Sanfilippo and Elsie Knoles who will miss her very much.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Burial service will be Thursday at 1:30 pm from Clifford-Shoemaker to Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Haven of Rest, 175 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44308 or Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice Development Foundation, 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Akron, OH 44333 is suggested.
