Dorothy Flinn

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Dorothy Mae Flinn (nee Davis), 82, died at her residence December 8, 2010. Mrs. Flinn was born in Cleveland and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 58 years, moving here from Garfield Heights. She had worked in infant care at Child Care of Ohio, lovingly caressing newborns till they were one year old and was a past member of Falls Chapter 245 OES.

Preceded in death by her husband, Charles R, brother; Jim Whittaker and brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Elaine Laurence; she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Tom Waltermire of Portage Lakes; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Jean Flinn of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Todd Andrew (Joy) Waltermire, Kevin Waltermire, Miss Heidi (Michael Branes) Waltermire, Melissa (Charles) Maris, Ryan (Kathleen Hall) Flinn and Kelley Flinn; great-grandchildren, Holmes and Everet Waltermire and waiting for Ellie Maris' arrival; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Harvey Dzomba; sister-in-law, Marie Whittaker and many loving nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will start promptly at 6:30pm Monday, December 13, 2010 in the Pavilion at Falls River Square with a social time immediately following till 9:00 pm. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be to the Humane Society 7996 Darrow Road Twinsburg, OH 44087 to share Dorothy's love for animals or Hospice of Summa 444 N. Main Street P.O.
