Dorothy Forest

Dorothy J. Forest, 85, died unexpectedly April 4, 2006. Mrs. Forest was born in Streator, IL and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1929. She was a 76 year member of St. John's Episcopal Church where she belonged to St. Margaret's Guild and Episcopal Women.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle C., sisters Ellen Schoffman and Betty Butler and brother, Jim Lilley and is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Cynthia of Cuyahoga Falls and Ronald and Reta of Akron; granddaughters, Vicki Forest and Sarah (Paul) Jordan; great-granddaughter, Aly Jordan; brother and sister-in-law, John T. and Kathleen Lilley of Kent and sister, Barbara Sanderson of Vermont.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday in St. John's Episcopal Church 2220 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Father Allan Belton officiating. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to her church in her memory.
