Dorothy Lauvray

Dorothy (Pryor) Lauvray, 93, passed away March 23, 2005. Mrs. Lauvray was born in Waterbury, CT and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1919. She had worked in the factory at Trump Plastics and later as a school crossing guard at 5th and Broad. She was a past president of VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062 Aux. and a member of F.O.E. 2207, AARP and was an active bowler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve and son Don R. Pryor and is survived by her daughters, Susan Moore and Judith Pryor both of Akron and grandaughter, Jennifer Hooks and great-grandson, Korry Hooks, both of Parma and grandson, Joshua Moore of Akron.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where friends may call for one hour prior to service time. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The Family suggests memorials be made to Northern Ohio Hemophilia Foundation, One Independence Place 4807 Rockside Rd. Suite 380 Cleveland, OH 44131 in memory of Don Pryor.
