Dorothy Roberts

Randolph-Dorothy Roberts (Cross, Stott), 88, passed away at home on, March 17,2023.

Dorothy was born in Akron and has resided in Randolph for the past 35 yrs. She worked and owned United Paving in the 1980's.  Dorothy loved the outdoors, gardening, her 2 dogs and her chickens. She was a fantastic loving, caring, supporting mother, wife, and grandmother. Her family was everything to her as she was to them.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter A. and Mildred A. Cross; daughters, Michelle Stott and Anne-Marie Roberts; brothers, Melvin Cross, Ronald Cross, Donald Cross and Richard Cross.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Roberts of Randolph; daughter, Peggy Stott aka Cheyenne Stott of Randolph; son, Thomas Stott of Randolph; brother, Robert (Shirley) Cross of Randolph; and sister, Terry Vest of Akron; grandchildren, Robert Mooney from Randolph, Charles (Deanna) Egli from Rootstown, Kristy (David) Hansen from Doylestown,   Tiffany (Jeremy ) Dotson from Tallmadge, Thomas Stott from Mogadore; great-grandchildren, Robert Mooney, Jr. and Leeland Mooney from Youngstown , Charles Egli II, Cody Egli, Cassandra Egli from Rootstown, Parker Dotson from Tallmadge and the new arrival of Ginny Hansen of Doylestown. Dorothy will also be missed by Vonda Stott from South Carolina and Donna and Faith Lee from  from North Carolina,  which she loved and missed dearly- they held a special spot in her heart; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service held at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, at 1pm on March 31, 2023. At the conclusion of the service the family is inviting everyone to a celebration of Dorothy's life which will be announced at the graveside service.
