CUYAHOGA FALLS - Dorothy Saviers, 86, passed away August 25, 2012.
Born in Wooster, Ohio, Mrs. Saviers lived the last 58 years in Cuyahoga Falls. Dorothy received a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Library Science from Kent State University. She was a Librarian and Head of Catalog Department at Taylor Memorial Library. She was also a member of the United Presbyterian Church.
Preceded in death by her husband Samuel Hugh, she is survived by her son, Samuel, Jr., and daughter, Suzanne, both of Cuyahoga Falls.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., on Thursday, August 30th at 1:00 pm, Rev. Ross Slaughter officiating. She will be interred in Chestnut Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the United Presbyterian Church, 2819 Hudson Dr., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 or the Cuyahoga Falls Library, 2015 3rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
