Dorothy Thatch

TALLMADGE - Dorothy M. Thatch, 97, passed away April 21, 2010. Mrs. Thatch was born in Akron and had resided in Tallmadge the past 6 years and the Cuyahoga Falls area her entire life. She was the last remaining charter member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, was a past member of OES Falls Chapter 245 and loved playing cards with her Friday Night Card Group and loved her flowers and garden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry and was the last remaining of her 9 siblings. She is survived by her children, Philip (Shirley) Thatch of Fayetteville, GA, Kathleen McNally of Stow and Gregory Thatch (fiancAC. Francine Morgan-Voyce) of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Raymond, Michael, Debbie, David, Diane, Karen and Steve and 7 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday in St. Luke's Lutheran Church 2121 6th St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Robert E. Linsz officiating. Interment Crown Hill Burial Park. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
