CUYAHOGA FALLS - Dorothy M. Yale, 87, passed away on September 28, 2008.
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 24, 1920. She lived most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and was graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and Hammel Business College.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend of 63 years, Frederick M. "Morty" Yale, and her son, Ronald Frederick Yale, in the Vietnam War, and her parents Elmer and Hazel Iverson. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (LeRoy) Keiser of Palm Beach, Florida, Carol (Americo) Cornacchione of Bath, Ohio; son, David Yale of Medina, Ohio; brother-in-law, Robert (Pat) Yale of Green, Ohio; grandchildren, Wanda (Tim) Nevers, Wendy (Shane) Kavantzas, Lisa (Dave) Paul, John (Lydia) Cornacchione, Jason (Kim) Cornacchione, and Michael Cornacchione; nieces, Lois (Tom) Miller, Linda (Jeff) Hamblin, and Patty Yale; and ten great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was a genuine, caring and sincere person with unlimited love for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law and aunt. She was liked and loved by all that knew her. She enjoyed homemaking and traveling.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of Sumner on Ridgewood for the excellent care and support.

Calling hours at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home will be on Thursday, October 2, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, October 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Chapel of Good Shepard, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH. A private entombment will be at the Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made in the name of Dorothy M. Yale to Sumner Foundation, 970 Sumner Parkway, Akron, OH 44321 or to Alzheimer Association, 1815 W. Market St. Suite 301 Akron,
