Edward C. Taylor, 63, went home to be with his Lord and Savior after a short courageous battle with cancer June 4, 2011. Ed was born in Buckhannan, WV on August 29, 1947 to Francis and Goldie Taylor.
He served with the U. S. Army in Vietnam and Germany. He was an owner operator as an over the road truck driver for 38 years. He was known for his great love for his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his great work ethic and making many friends across the country.
He was preceded in death by his parents: brothers and sisters, Francis Taylor, Louella Wright, Donna Thayer; brothers-in-law, Frankie Warner, Herb Wright and Bernard Thayer and is survived by his wife, Lynn; daughter, Briegitte; son, Daniel of the residence; given children, Brian, Christine and Eric Meloy and Amanda Fenwick; siblings, Betty Warner, Goldie Jean (Bob) Smith, Bob (Clara) Taylor; sister-in-law, Yoshiko Taylor and many special family members and friends.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, June 6 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls.
