Edward Thomas

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Edward Thomas,92, passed away on May 31, 2021. After the death of his parents, he spent his final years at the Ardmore Disabilities Services Group Home. Ed enjoyed everything they had to offer at the facility. Some of the things he liked to do were shoot basketball in his room while listening to loud music on his headphones. He would count semi-trucks when they went to places like Chuckie Cheese. He had a great fascination with watches and loved yoyos. His favorite thing to do was bowling. He received a button for bowling a 133.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Altha Thomas; sisters, Gladys (Francis Sr.) Roberts, Betty (Bill) Buskirk, Verna (Clifford) Cochran; brothers, James (Mary) Thomas and Charles Thomas.
Ed will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
There will be a visitation on June 9, 2021 from 11am to 12pm with a funeral service to follow. The visitation and funeral service will be held at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Once the funeral service is concluded there will be a graveside service at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, 4724 State Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264.
