CUYAHOGA FALLS - Egon H. Lohmeyer, 84, passed away October 12, 2006 in Florida.
Mr. Lohmeyer was born in Eisenberg, Germany and came to the United State to study after WWII. He worked for Chrysler Corp in Flint, Michigan before moving to Cuyahoga Falls where he had resided the past 45 years. He was a member of Star Lodge 187 F. & A. M. and attended Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cuyahoga Falls.
Preceded in death by his wife, Erika, he is survived by his daughters Joanie Stewart of Santa Barbara, CA and Dr. Barbara Lohmeyer and her husband Dr. Thomas Ruzics of Green; grandchildren, Tiffany and Michael Stewart and Eva and Tomi Ruzics.
A Masonic Service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday by Star Lodge #187 F. & A. M. in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where friends may call from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
