Elizabeth Ast

Elizabeth Ann Ast (nee Moule), 77, died at her residence April 9, 2006. Mrs. Ast was born in Portage Lakes and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1944, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1946. She retired from the Billing Dept. for the City of Cuyahoga Falls in 1996 and had previously worked for the M. O'Neil Co. on Front St. and Children's Palace. Ann enjoyed boating and fishing in Canada, loved bowling on the Eagle's Bowling League and later enjoyed golfing trips to Charleston, Myrtle Beach and Florida.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis John Ast, parents, Glenn and Marie Moule and sister, Louise Overholtz and is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Richard and Lori Ast of Ellet; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Marian Warner of Munroe Falls; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Sonya Moule of Charleston, SC and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made in her memory to Falls Cancer Club, P.O. Box 3244, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 or Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., P.O.
