CUYAHOGA FALLS - Elizabeth Cross (Liz) died August 13, 2015, at age 85.
Born in Akron, she had lived in Cuyahoga Falls since 1958.
She leaves husband, Leroy (Tony) Cross; son, Jay (Pat) in Montana; and daughter Jody (Terry) McMahan, in Wadsworth; as well as two granddaughters, Jaime and Taylor McMahan. She also leaves sisters, Lillis Proudfoot, Marilyn Miletich, Harriet Wallace, and brother, David Cochran.
She was a charter and very active member of the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society, serving as museum curator for many years. She received the 2007 Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce "Citizen of the Year" award for her Historical Society efforts.
At her request, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society at 2083 Cook St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
