CUYAHOGA FALLS - Elizabeth Byrne Morgart, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died on December 29, 2009. Betty was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 13, 1918, and moved to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio in 1950 with her husband, Robert Paul Morgart. She attended the University of Akron, and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber in 1981 as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Advertising. She was a charter member of St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls, and was sustained by her faith all her life. She loved her family above all else.

She was preceded in death by parents, Margaret (Christinzio) and Valentine Byrne; husband, Paul Morgart; sister, Gloria D'Allesandro; brother, Valentine Byrne and John Byrne. Elizabeth is survived by daughter, Michele; beloved grandson, Michael (Ria), and great-grandson, Benjamin; great-granddaughter, Brianna; sister, Antoinette Byrne; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Rita Christinzio, and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff at Traditions at Bath Rd. for their extraordinary care and compassion with Elizabeth over the last year. We are also thankful to Dr. Ross Black for his long-time care and support.

There will be no calling hours. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 12:00 Noon at St. Eugene's Church, and friends may call at the church an hour before the Mass. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made in Elizabeth's memory to St. Eugene Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
