CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ellen Joy Limbach (nee Schmiedel), 84 passed away September 17, 2007.
Mrs. Limbach was born in Cleveland, graduated from Barber School in Akron in 1937 and East High School in 1941. A long time resident of Cuyahoga Falls she worked at Hardware and Supply Company, for the Navy Department at Goodyear Aircraft during WWII and retired from Sears at Chapel Hill. She was a member of Weaver Mothers Support Group and Bethany United Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth; sisters, Jane Semegen and Mary Lou Murphy, she is survived by her children, special son, Kenny, Jr. at home, Andy (Marilyn) of Hermosa Beach, CA, Mary Ellen (Opha) Peden of Richmond, VA, Jess of Cuyahoga Falls, Janice (Steve) Ruch of Kent; grandson, Jesse Peden; sister Rosanne (Art) Stube of Cincinnati; twin sisters, Jackie (Bill) Hench of AZ and Pauline Berdyck of CA; brother George Schmiedel of CA and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls where a funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Rev. Mark Steiner officiating. Final resting place will be Crown Hill Cemetery. The family request donations to The Weaver Group Foundation, Inc., 89 E.
