Ellen Morton

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ellen O'Keefe Morton passed away July 21, 2015.

She was born in Lyon, France and resided in Stow before moving to Cuyahoga Falls. She was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church and Holy Family Parish. She was employed by Georgetown Univ. and Univ. of Indiana before working for Portage Travel in Kent. She volunteered at Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Metro Parks of Summit Co., was a member of Herb Society, Akron Metro Hiking Club.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; sister in law Sue, brother in law Theodore; she is survived by her daughter Karen (Rick) Morton of Stow; granddaughter Natalie, brother in law Bill Jones of Rangeley, MA; sister in law Patti Morton of Alexandria, VA and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Mass will be conducted Monday July 27, 2015, 10:30 AM at Holy Family Parish, 3179 Kent Rd., Stow, Ohio 44224. Friends may call one hour before the services. Inurnment at Stow Cemetery. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home & Crematory, 330-928-147.
