Elsie Marie Capriola

Cuyahoga Falls – Elsie Marie Capriola, 95, passed away peacefully at her home, March 24, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Elsie was born May 5, 1928, in Powhatan Point, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Angelina Togliatti. She was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls and worked for Cuyahoga Falls High School as the cafeteria manager until she retired. She met the love of her life, Patrick Thomas Capriola, the two were married on March 31, 1951 and spent 52 years together until his passing in 2003.

Elsie loved spending time with her grandkids and was a big family person. 

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Denise Capriola; sons, Dennis, and Dean Capriola; grandsons, Anthony Capriola, Travis and Derek Wolfe, Justin, Rory, and Sean Capriola; sister, Olga Ryan; brother, James Togliatti and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Patrick Capriola; sisters, Madeline Keller, and Ida Brubaker; and brothers, Theodore, Albert, and Robert “Angelo” Togliatti.

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Uniontown, Ohio 44685.
