CUYAHOGA FALLS - Emma Barack Waltermire passed away March 20, 2009, just prior to her 99th birthday.

She was born in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Olga and Nicholas Barack. She graduated from the University of Akron where she was secretary of her class and a member of Mortar Board. She was employed by the U.S. Dept. of Labor retiring after 37 years of service. She was a 50-year member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls and a 50-year member of the PEO Sisterhood. Ballroom dancing was a joy her entire life and she was a world traveler. She was proud that both sons achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Her life long motto was "go for it".

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Everett, she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James D. (Tessa) and Thomas A. (Shirley); grandsons Brian, Todd (Joy), Erik, Kevin; granddaughter, Miss Heidi; great grandson Holmes; and the loving Lyon family.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Marvin Brown officiating. Cremation has taken place. Her family is planning a burial at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Gifts and Memorials Fund First United Methodist Church in her memory.
