Ethel Welch

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Ethel C. Welch, 87, passed away July 18, 2007. Mrs. Welch was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1962, moving there from Akron. She retired from the Juvenile Courts, later worked for the YWCA and was a member of Grandview United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband, Arnett G.; brother, Emil Czetli and sister, Goldie Shaw and is survived by her son, Stefan A. Welch of Akron; step-son, John Welch of NC; grandson, Alex of Tallmadge; brothers, Jess Czetli of Delaware and Ernie (Ruth Ann) Czetli of Michigan; many nieces and nephews; many friends at Cardinal Village and the 10th Street Gang.
There will be no calling hours. Family and friends may gather for a graveside service conducted in Copley Cemetery at 10:00 am Saturday, Rev. James McKenzie officiating.
