OLMSTED FALLS - Eula Bell [nee Graham] Sertick, aka "Peaches" 82, passed away peacefully and was welcomed into Eternal Life on Thursday, April 16th, 2020. She was born in Hopkinsville, Ky to the late Frank J. Graham and Era Bell Fletcher, blessed with the devout care and guidance of her grandparents, William and Ethel Bell (Granddaddy and Mamma)
Eula worked as an auditor for the United Transportation Union, Lakewood, Ohio, retiring after 32 years of faithful service. She was an avid Ballroom and Square dance participant and enjoyed many happy retirement years surrounded by music and dance. Eula was a dedicated Cleveland sports fan, and especially loved her Cleveland Indians. Sweet, loving, beautiful and a joy to all who knew her, including family and friends here in Ohio and her hometown of Kentucky.
Preceded in death by her late husband: George J. Sertick, parents: Frank J. Graham and Era Bell Fletcher, siblings: Edwin L. Graham, and James E. Graham [Kathleen], Survived by and loving mother to: Debra A. Sudy, Cynthia R. Polchek, Theresa J. Mroz, Laura M. Baker [Greg] and Angelyn N. Osborn; grandmother of: Daniel [Amy] Jared, Mike [Kelley], Tia, Kristen, Megan [JT], Kristina, Samantha, and Jacob; great grandmother of: Lilianna, Brantley and Zayne; sister: Joanne Spitznogle; sister-in-law: Bonnie Graham Griffey and many nieces, nephews and family.
A prayer service to gather and remember Eula will be held at a future date.
Special thanks to the the staff of Vista Springs Assisted Living (Greenbriar) especially Marlene, Barb and Jen for the care they provided; a very special thanks to the hospice staff of Holy Family for the prayers, love, and compassion they showed during Eula's stay at Vista, especially in her final hours; a heartfelt thanks to Maria Adorjan, massage therapist, Therapeutic Magic for her soothing therapeutic care; special acknowledgement to Joseph P. Boysko and Myra K. Boysko for the many cherished memories created over the years; special thanks to our devout Uncle Francis for the spiritual support along with Abbot Clement and Fr Justin for Last Rites and Blessing and the many others who kept Eula in thought and prayer.
