Evelyn Gartman

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Evelyn A. Gartman, 85, passed away peacefully November 11, 2010 with family members by her side. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, OH November 5, 1925 daughter of Robert and Albertina Zander. She retired from Ohio Edison after many years of service. She was a lifelong member and organist of Redeemer Lutheran Church, and had a real passion for crafts especially crocheting.

Preceded in death by her husband Herbert A. Gartman on April 28, 1965. She is survived by her three children Barbara (Robert) Carbajal, Edna (Barry) Wood and Arthur (Darlene) Gartman; sisters, Edna (Willie) Wells and Ruth Sindelar; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who knew her better as GG; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Monday November 15 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 16 at 11 AM.
