CUYAHOGA FALLS -Evelyn M. Kaufman, 83, passed away March 31, 2008. Mrs. Kaufman was born in Cuyahoga Falls where she had resided her entire life. She had worked as an operator and in the business office for Ohio Bell and was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. She was also a member of Billow Chapter #483 OES and had volunteered at Cuyahoga Falls General and the American Red Cross Blood Bank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Pershing and son, Larry David and is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Becki and Bill Bell of San Antonio, TX and Mary and Richard Gulledge of Akron; grandchildren, Amanda (Chris) Taylor, Lucas Bell and Adam Gulledge; great-grandchildren, Katy and Megan; her grand-dog, Angel Joy and a host of friends.
Friends may call from 7:30 to 9:00 pm Wednesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where Billow Chapter #483 OES will conduct an Eastern Star Service at 7:15 pm Wednesday. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 2121 6th St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Pastor Robert E. Linsz officiating. Friends may call at church beginning at 10:00 am Thursday. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to St. Luke's or Guide Dogs for the Blind, P.O. Box 151200, San Rafael, CA 94515-1200.
