CUYAHOGA FALLS - Evelyn M Richardson, 97, passed away March 18, 2010.
Mrs. Richardson was born in Brush Run, West Virginia and had resided most of her life in the Akron and Cuyahoga Falls area, graduating in 1931 from Cuyahoga Falls High School. Evelyn worked for the Cuyahoga Falls Board of Education at Lincoln Elementary School. She was active in the Falls Chapter #245 Order Of The Eastern Star, the Friday Bridge Club and the Monday Night Art class at the Quirk Center and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls.
Preceded in death by her husband Ted and son-in-law Robert J. McIntire, she is survived by her children Rebecca McIntire of Cuyahoga Falls and Dr. Roger (Debora) Richardson of Boynton Beach, FL; grandchildren, Kathy Smith, Mitzi (Charles) Stanley, Craig (Kim) McIntire, Roger P Richardson, Jr., Theodore J "T.J." Richardson and Sarah Evelyn D Richardson; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Mallory (Geert), Joel, Alysia, Ryan and Shane and was awaiting the arrival of her first great-great-grandchild.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. J. Ross Slaughter officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the United Presbyterian Church, 2819 Hudson Drive, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 in her memory. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
