Faythe Marie Porter Timms

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Our dear mother, Faythe Marie Porter Timms, sadly passed away November 16, 2023, at the age of 101 + 10 months. Faythe was a wonderful mother who put everyone before herself. She didn’t know a stranger. She had many friends because she was a good friend.

Faythe was preceded in death by her spouse, Vernon A. Timms; mother, Marie Smith Resch (George Resch) and Clyde Porter; children, Ronald E. Ward, Edward A. Ward, David Timms (Carol) and great-grandsons, Hayden Timms, Ethan Andrus, Peyton Johnson and Jerrid Orsich.

She loved family, cards, Jeopardy, and bingo. Faythe had many angels who always looked after her, where she lived in Stow, OH. There was Scottie and Victoria & Mike, Vicki and Kim and more.

She has remaining children, Glen Ward, Faye Timms Bosley (Edward), Marvin Timms (Grace dec.); 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers (4 dec.), with Jack Steele surviving; 3 sisters (2 dec.), with Charlene Porter Lautzenhiser (Richard) surviving. Faythe is so loved and will be so missed.

Calling hours will be held at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 12-2 PM, where a funeral service will follow at 2 PM.

Faythe had faith in our Lord and will be reunited with her family.
