Floyd Darrow

Floyd M. Darrow, 95, passed away April 10, 2007. Mr. Darrow was born in Stow and had resided in Ravenna over 26 years, moving there from Darrowville. He was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Ravenna and had been a popcorn farmer and known as the Popcorn King of Summit County.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth; sons, John (JoAnne) and Jim, both of Ravenna; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces, Margaret Samuels, Mary Roderick and Pat Samuels.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm Friday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, Pastor Jack Taylor officiating. Interment Darrowville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Freewill Baptist Church, 100 Park Ave. Ravenna, OH 44266.
