CUYAHOGA FALLS - Forest J. "Bud" Norris, 77, passed away July 29, 2007 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Mr. Norris was born in Portsmouth, OH, had served in the Army during the Korean War and has been a resident of Cuyahoga Falls the past 42 years, moving there from Barberton. He had worked as a machinist for Terex before retiring in 1988 and then working for Gross Brothers and Industrial Tool and Machine Company.
Preceded in death by his father, Vernon Arthur; son, Gregory Charles and brothers Edward and Ronald, he is survived by his wife Delores "Peg"; son, Bradley J. (Maureen) of Franklin TN; daughter, Kimberly K. (Christopher "Scott") Whitney of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Bradley Joseph Norris II, Joshua Steven (Rebekah) Norris, Zachary Alexander Kuzmik, Luke Andrew Kuzmik and Abigail Rose Whitney; mother Myrtle; brothers, Arthur (Laurabell), Richard (Ellen), Thomas and Donald (Robbie) and sister Mabel Long.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating. Interment will be in Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
